It’s A Bird, It’s A Plane

My son’s 1st Birthday Party went great. He didn’t nap at all until 5:30pm when he finally crashed. He was having too much fun running around with his cousins.

I started buying decorations (not all seen here) probably like 3 months before. I wanted to buy more and if I’m being honest I had about 10 more items on my Amazon list. As it got closer and my bank account had a talk with me, I started being more realistic of what we actually needed.

We served fruit, sandwiches, chips and dip, pretzel salad and egg salad. I’ve seen so many Pinterest ideas where the food is shaped like airplanes or cars etc but there were just not enough hours in the day.

I wish I took more pictures, I was so busy I didn’t have time. But over the years I’ve realized if I don’t take the pictures no one else will.

I’m glad we waited to open cards & gifts until we got home. He got so much stuff it was overwhelming. This way Jon and I could open them while my friend Ashley wrote down who got us what for thank you cards. Speaking of thank you cards, I ordered them on vistaprint and made them post cards I got like 75 for $25 so much cheaper than anywhere else I had looked. #momwin

Everything came out great. Here are some pictures.
