So I’ve lost all of my baby weight, I’m down to the lowest I’ve been in years. However, I still have a little baby belly that I can’t seem to shake. Doesn’t help that work has been crazy and I can’t make it to the gym everyday like I use to. I’ve been looking to see what else I can do to get my body back.
They say abs are made in the kitchen!
Keto it is. I’ve been wanting to do it for months and my fiancé had been giving me crap saying it won’t work, I won’t be able to do it blah blah blah. So, my best friend says she’s doing it and orders me a 60 hour boost (cleanse, fasting, jumpstart .. not sure what to really call it). I come home I tell the fiancé like “well I guess I gotta try it since Ashley got already ordered it”. Then he was off… researching… googling… asking his coworker who does it too.
So he’s in head first – which means even if I didn’t already want to my dinners would be Keto anyway. So I started the diet this weekend, I’m down 4.6lbs. The boost will start on Sunday and I’m hoping that just helps kickstarts the last little bit I need and then I can work on maintaining.
This isn’t me selling you anything just simply telling you what’s working for us so far. I downloaded this app “Carb Manager” (free) and realized today that my coffee (Medium Hot French Vanilla with Almond Milk) alone sets me over my carbs for the day x3. Guess it’s regular coffee starting tomorrow.
Here are my goals:
And here were my actuals:
Fiancé bought these testing strips to see if we’re in ketosis and surprisingly after the day I had (now that I have this app I’ll be so much better) I was still in traces. 🙌🏻
Are you doing Keto? Any tips/tricks to keeping those carbs down?
