I thought I’d give this Daily Post one word prompt a try. In keeping with my first time Mama theme :
Have you seen my sons cheeks?! They are always red. No matter what he has a natural blush tone to his cheek. Winter had been brutal for his skin on top of teething drool.
I have wondered about Fifths Disease a few times in the beginning.
“Signs and Symptoms. Fifth disease begins with a low fever, headache, and mild cold-like symptoms (like a stuffy or runny nose). These symptoms pass, and the illness seems to be gone until the rash appears a few days later. Kids younger than 10 are most likely to get the rash. – Kidshealth.org”
We quickly learned that this is just his coloring. He will probably be one of those guys at the bar who the more he drinks the redder he gets. He’s going to be the kid who blushes when he’s embarrassed or if a girl kisses him.
For now we use the Aveeno Eczema Baby Lotion and it seems to help.
